Once you've installed kAcars, click Options, then click User Settings
Under Base URL, type in: http://www.simulatedunited.com/
Under Pilot ID, enter your pilot ID that was given to you when you registered at Simulated United
In the password field, type in the password you used when you registered at Simulated United
Now, how to use kAcars with your flight simulator to record a flight
Find a flight under "Flight Schedules" and make a bid on a flight
Start kAcars
Make sure your Pilot ID and password are correct and click Log In
Start your flight simulator, and once it's loaded click "Connect to FS" (You should see "Connected to FS" if successful)
Click on "Get Flight Bid Info" and you should see "Flight Found" (Hint: Change your flight level to whatever altitude you prefer)
Select your aircraft, load your flight planner in your flight simulator and create a flight plan (preferred IFR - High Altitude Airways)
IMPORTANT!!! - Click on NavLog and CHECK YOUR ESTIMATED FUEL BURN!!!! For short flights, add an extra 2000 gallons - For flights longer than 2 hours, add
an extra 5000-10,000 gallons, OR use http://fuel.aerotexas.com/for fuel calculation
Change your fuel load to the best estimate for the fuel burn for your flight
Once you finish this, click "Start Flight" or whatever button loads your flight simulator to where you spawn in Parking
With your park brake on, go back to kAcars and click on Start Flight - Make sure it says "Recording" right below that
Fly your flight, and when you land and pull into parking, set your park brake - Go back to kAcars and click "Stop Flight"
The final step is to click "File PIREP" - Now you're finished!!
